Acai Berry Is Hoax! – Warning For You

Some may be wondering if there is such a thing as an Acai Berry hoax occurring. That is, they may believe that this oft touted dietary supplement berry does not really help with weight loss. Is it really a hoax?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately, “acai berry” is at least somewhat familiar to you. This little nutritional powerhouse was recently discovered in the Brazilian rain forest, and has caught on in the West because of its amazing nutritional properties.

The berry possesses amazing antioxidant power (it is fully 10 to 30 times stronger than other antioxidants that are promoted in health circles), and it remains a very healthy food item with a complete array of amino acids which is most unlike most non-animal protein foods. The Acai Berry also contains a healthy amounts of omega-3 fatty acids and the extremely difficult to locate fatty acid, oleic acid.

Among these many great things, most people will look towards the Acai Berry as a help towards weight loss. Yes, there has been a lot of press in regards to this. Some of this press has been positive and some of it has been negative. So, what is the actual truth of the matter? Does an Acai Berry hoax exist and are the weight loss claims overstated.

There is no hoax occurring. The Acai Berry is a very healthy food item and it has the potential to help you lose weight. The Acai Berry hoax claims seem to derive from the claims of particular brand names that make very overstated claims. Basically, their marketing campaigns promote a more over the top solution to weight loss problems. No one is going to use Acai Berry to lose 50lbs in 30 days. That just is not going to happen!

For example, the sweet taste of the Acai Berry has its benefits. Some may have a craving for something sweet and eating berry products will certainly help more than a candy bar would. Again, you would be absorbing all the weight loss contributing components of the berry when you eat it as a snack.

Number one, if you nosh on products made with acai berry when you get a sweet tooth urge, it’ll keep you going on your weight loss program without resorting to sneaking candy bar. And, it’ll do so healthfully, I might add.

And number two, because it is so full of amino acids, good fats, and fiber, it’s going to help you control your hunger; the good fats can help you increase your own thermogenesis — basically, your ability to burn off fat, even as it keeps you from overeating.

So while acai berry doesn’t have amazing superpowers, it almost does; used properly with a good balanced diet and some exercise, it certainly can help you lose weight.
