Belly Fat Exercises: Learn How To Burn Belly Fat

When you need to know how to burn belly fat, it’s normal to start looking for belly fat exercises. In fact, most people immediately start doing crunches and sit ups when they notice they have too much fat on their stomachs, but they’re quickly disappointed to discover this doesn’t work too well.

You’d think that doing crunches, sit ups and other exercises for the midsection of your body would be the best belly fat exercises to do right? Well that’s a very normal thought to have until you learn how fat is actually burned in your body.

Essentially, you can’t burn fat from just one section of your body. You have to burn body fat in general and let it naturally reduce in all areas at once. When you start doing any type of fat burning activities, you’ll quickly notice you’re burning belly fat too though, because the fat on your belly is the most noticeable since it sticks out in front of you everywhere. Once you start doing fat burning exercises, it will seem as if they’re belly fat exercises because you’ll see that extra flab and fat on your stomach start to melt away.

The most effective fat burning exercises are those which mimic natural work and physical activity. In other words, they don’t have a predictable routine and rhythm. That may sound odd to you if you’ve never heard this before, but your body is quite smart. And it can adapt to almost anything you throw at it.

So if you start jogging as a new activity for example, your body will start shedding body fat because it isn’t used to that routine. As you continue doing that same exercise though, your body will quickly realize it needs to keep providing this extra energy to you. Once your body wises up to what you’re doing it will stop burning the extra fat as quickly. This is often known in the dieting world as a plateau.

Building and toning muscle helps you lose fat too, because your body has to expend more energy (aka calories) to maintain muscle mass. So any type of weight training or general muscle toning exercises will help you burn the fat.

The best way to keep your body burning as much fat as it can is to keep it on its toes. In other words you need to change and mix things up frequently, so the body cannot get use to the new routines and energy levels.

In exercise terms, this type of fat burning exercise is usually referred to as interval training. When you’re using interval training as belly fat exercises the goal is to shift your physical activity levels frequently. So if you took up jogging like we mentioned above, then you might jog for a few minutes like normal, then sprint as fast as you can for fifteen to thirty seconds. This forces your body to give you a burst of energy, and that need for the burst of energy kicks your body into higher fat burning gears.

The same approach can be taken with everyday activities too though. You don’t have to use formal interval training as your belly fat exercises because any mixed level of physical activity will do the trick. If you take a walk every day for example, then be sure to vary your speeds at random intervals. If you play sports you already have a natural advantage, because most sports have periods of slower activity interspersed with big bursts of movement or action.

Once you start using techniques like the above to force your body to burn more fat, you’ll feel like you’ve found some excellent belly fat exercises because you will start to see dramatic reductions in your belly fat within just a few short weeks.
