Five Health Problems Which Can Interfere with Weight Loss
Sometimes it seems like regardless of what you’re doing to try and lose weight, you just can’t seem to shed the pounds. Even if you’re following advice from your doctor or nutritionist exactly, you’re still not losing weight. And it might not actually be your fault.
Sometimes when you’re not able to lose any weight it has nothing to do with the kind of food you’re eating or how much physical activity you get each day. There are a variety of health problems, diseases, and conditions which can make you gain weight, or make it extremely difficult to lose weight.
You are overweight for the most simple of reasons: Because you’re eating the wrong foods, the wrong types of calories per meal, and you’re also eating meals in the wrong patterns each day. Click Here To Learn More…
1. Stress is a very common health issue which can interfere with your weight loss. When you are overly stressed, your body produces a hormone called cortisol. Small amounts of this hormone aren’t usually a problem, but too much of it can actually cause you to gain weight.
2. Depression is another extremely common health condition that can cause you to gain weight, or make losing weight very difficult. In most cases depressed people often eat more than they should, or they tend to eat comfort foods such as cakes and cookies, which of course will cause problems with weight loss goals.
3. Insulin resistance. This is a health condition which causes your body to not respond to insulin production properly. When your body does not respond to insulin, your blood sugar levels rise too high. And when that happens, it can cause you to gain weight.
4. Thyroid problems. Hypothyroidism is where your thyroid gland is either in active or under active. The thyroid gland is what helps maintain your body’s metabolism levels, so when it is not operating properly, you can have big problems losing weight.
5. Hormone imbalances. Women particularly have problems with hormonal changes and imbalances, but men can have this problem too. When your hormones are out of whack, it plays a large role in how well your body can lose weight.
