Lose Fat Fast with Interval Training

If you want to burn body fat acutely fast, one of the easiest ways to do so is by doing what’s known as interval training. Interval training is simply the process of changing the pace were exercising or performing other school activities. Continuously changing the pace of your physical activity forces your body to keep changing the amount of energy it’s supplying you.

A great example of interval training involves a combination of walking and jogging. If you always walk or jog at the same pace your body will quickly get used to that physical activity level. And over time it will stop burning as much extra body fat as it did in the beginning.

If you make the simple change of adjusting your pace instead though, you can actually trick your body into burning more body fat faster. And all you need to do is change your pace. If you’re walking for instance, at a sedate pace, do that or about 30 to 60 seconds then walk fast for 30 to 60 seconds. Doing this change of pace randomly is actually best. Walk at your normal pace for two to five minutes, then do a slow jog or a fast walk for 30 seconds. The same concept can be used with jogging. Jog at your normal pace for a few minutes, then sprint as fast as you can for about 30 seconds.

By mixing in random spurts of high activity, you’re forcing your body supply you with more energy. And when you force your body to supply more energy – even briefly – it responds by making sure it’s always able to give you more energy with little to no notice.

It’s quite easy to work interval training into your daily or weekly routine. All you really have to do, is play sports once in a while. If you enjoy playing tennis or basketball for example, then try doing one or more of these activities a couple of times each week.

Sports are excellent to use for interval training, because they naturally involve periods of slow movement mixed with sudden movements.

So start mixing in interval training to your physical activity today, and you’ll notice your body is burning fat much faster than it ever has before.
